It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Puerto Morelos, minus the snow. We thought we would share a few pictures of the town square, on the port side, so you could get a little taste of what Christmas is like in the tropics.

The Star of David over the gazebo!

The colours of Mexico wrapped around the trees.
It’s not too late to spend Christmas in Puerto Morelos!

It is nice to see the square decorated. Even the nativity scene is set up below the big shiny tree. But the question is, “Will the baby Jesus make a guest appearance under the tree this year?” (Hint: He didn’t last year, must have been somebody’s day off!)

We will have more holiday updates coming up for you from In Puerto Morelos. The square in the Colonia has an entire Christmas village and a big Christmas Posada is coming to the town soon.

In the meantime, we hope everyone is having a great holiday season and are dreaming of your next visit to Puerto Morelos.
